# Promotion Partners

> Let third-party publishers promote your campaigns and earn the commission for the sales they drive.

A promotion partner is a third-party publisher, such as a voucher site or a student publisher, that promotes your Gocertify campaign on its own site. Each partner gets a link to your campaign that identifies them, so the affiliate commission for a shopper who verifies through that link goes to the partner rather than to Gocertify.

## How it works

Your campaign has a [tracking link](https://docs.gocertify.me/section/trackImpact/affiliateTracking.md) that shoppers are redirected to after verifying. For most shoppers that link attributes the sale to Gocertify in your affiliate network.

A partner link changes that for the shoppers the partner sends. The link points at your hosted campaign page with a parameter that identifies the partner. When a shopper arrives through it, Gocertify shows a banner on the campaign page saying the offer is in partnership with that publisher, and after verification redirects the shopper to the partner's affiliate link instead of your usual tracking link. Your affiliate network then attributes the sale to the partner.

The partner is remembered for the whole verification, whichever route the shopper takes through it, and the first partner a shopper arrives with is the one that counts.

> Partners are set up by Gocertify. If the publisher you want to work with is not in the list, ask your account manager to add them. A partner cannot create its own link.

## Add a partner to a campaign

**1. Open the campaign's Promotion partners tab**

In your dashboard go to Rewards, Campaigns, edit the campaign, then Promotion partners. Click **Add a partner** and search for the publisher.

**2. Paste the partner's affiliate link**

This is the tracking link from your affiliate network that attributes sales to the partner. Your network or the partner will give it to you. Tick **Apply to all campaigns** if the partner should promote every campaign on your brand with the same link.

The dialog generates the landing page URL for the partner.

**3. Share the landing page URL with the partner**

Copy the landing page URL from the dialog and send it to the partner. This is the only link they should publish. It must be used as is, because the parameter on the end is what identifies them.

> Whether the commission goes entirely to the partner or is shared with Gocertify depends on the affiliate link you configure. Agree that with your network and the partner before you add them.
